MA-CPM Program Highlights
The Massachusetts Certified Public Managers ®(MA-CPM) program is a leadership development certificate program for public managers and supervisors. The program is designed for leaders in the public and non-profit sectors - this includes federal, state, and local professionals who serve the public.
The MA-CPM program at Bridgewater State University offers:

MA-CPM Program Overview
The Massachusetts Certified Public Managers® program at Bridgewater State University is offered by the Master of Public Administration program within the Political Science Department and has been given Active Status by the National Certified Public Managers Consortium.
The program provides 325 hours of instruction - twelve (12) courses.

The Massachusetts Certified Public Managers® (MA-CPM) program if offered to individuals holding varying levels of education. The certificate is offered as both a non-credit and credit program.

Non-Credit Option
The Massachusetts Certified Public Managers® (MA-CPM) program is offered as a non-credit program for those who have not completed a bachelor's degree.

Grad-Credit Option
The Massachusetts Certified Public Managers® (MA-CPM) program is offered as a credit program for those who have completed their bachelor's or master's degree.
To register as a grad-credit MA-CPM student please visit:

As a student within the graduate-credit program you may be able to transfer up to 6 credits into the Master of Public Administration (NASPAA Accredited) program at Bridgewater State University.
Current Master of Public Administration students at BSU may transfer up to 6 credits into the Massachusetts CPM program upon graduation. (At this time dual registration is not offered.)
